How Object Remover works

This is inpainting: the model looks at everything around your mask and generates plausible content to fill the hole. It's strongest when the background behind the object is fairly regular — sky, wall, grass, pavement, water. It struggles most when the removed object sits in front of something structured and irregular, like text or a detailed face, because there's no consistent pattern to continue.

Any tips for a clean result?

Cover the object completely and extend the mask slightly past its edges, including its shadow. A mask that clips the object leaves a telltale fringe behind.

When does it struggle?

When the background behind the object is highly structured — text, faces, repeating detailed patterns. Regular backgrounds like sky, wall, or grass give near-invisible results.
